I am hungry, so hungry

Tears of frustration

Become all that I do

Distractions cloud my climb

Attitude Adjustment

Evolutionists, they theorize

Trying to confuse me

They think they’ll shift my eyes…

But what they cannot steal

Is my faith in God that’s real.

Hey filmmaker, why do you mock us?

You twist God’s Word to fit your plots

Hey angsty poet, your words are glum

You blame the Lord for all you’ve become.

Philosophers, search new ideas

Trying to distract me

They think their notions free us…

But what they can’t provide

Is the peace I have inside.

Hey fortune-teller, why the misleading?

It’s false information that Satan is feeding.

Hey talk-show host, your broadcast thrives

You think it’s you who can mend people’s lives.

These worldly ways

They make me sick

Political correctness

Has become too thick

But now I know

That I forgot to say:

God’s love is free

Without price to pay!

When faced with an opponent who wants to debate

Be slow to get angry, before it’s too late

Too many times we get frustrated and shout

Driving people away when we need to reach out.

Instead of presenting a defensive attitude

Christians, be Christ-like, and stop being rude

Let’s reflect Jesus’ love so that others may see

It’s the Grace of our Lord that sets sinners free.

Thank You for the wholeness

The fulfillment that You give

Thank You for Your saving grace

The way that You forgive

Jesus You’re my Saviour

I want to know You more

Remind me when I’m falling

Of my empty life before

Without You—I am incomplete

Undeserving—I fall at Your feet

Your mercy’s indescribable

No other is reliable

The Truth is undeniable

I find my hope in You!

Thank You for the patience

The endurance you provide

Thank You for Your loving arms

The peace I have inside

Jesus You’re my Shepherd

I want to follow You

Remind me when I’m leading

Of Your Will You want to do
